Midwest Supply offers replacement air filters for homes in bulk. It is obviously a competitive market, with many of the large retail chains carrying one brand or another, and multiple websites offering the product.

Midwest Supply's site, www.ushomefilter.com, had been online for a few months with very few sales before they came on board with SMT in April 2005. By October of 2005 sales had increased by over 200%. By April 2006, they had increased by another 200% over October 2005. By October 2006 the total sales increased by 100% over April of the same year. In all, total sales of air filters online had increased by over 2000% in a year and a half.

How was this accomplished? Consistent and ongoing search engine optimization, proper domain handling, increased back link count, better site structure, and efficient management of advertising dollars. In short, knowledgeable Internet marketing practices.
